One rancher holds off 52 hired gunmen while writing a journal of his last stand, which was one of the most impressive last stands in American history. In April 1892 Nate Champion lost his life in Wyoming during the opening engagement of the Johnson County War when he was pinned down for 8 hours in a cabin at the KC Ranch. His actions saved countless lives.
